The Journey started here...
Thank you to Ohio State University.
Just like my professors from the past, now it’s my turn to share the knowledges and passion for y’all next generations.
Although I haven’t found a way to save all the wildlives.. stray kitties & doggos.
I will try my own ways to make this world a better place!
Next stop: Shanghai, China
I quit my job and went to China.
It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the only one that felt true to my heart. Everytime when I close my eyes, all I hear is stray animals crying, and their endless screaming. When I first became a veterinarian, I said "I was going to travel to the darkest places on earth and save the animals that need me the most, regardless of the species."
Now is the time to carry out that promise.
First stop: Shanghai
Let’s go!!

They say…
Life is but a dream when you wake up.
Project Frog… continues ….
Dreams are like stars; they may seem distant, but they guide you through the darkest nights.

Welcome to the first ever
Asia-Pacific Exotic Animal Veterinary Conference.
6/10/2024 - 6/14/2024
Second time with Zhejiang University in Hangzhou China, such a beautiful city I will visit again!!
Oregon is so gorgeous..
I want to live here forever. Hmm..
Maybe this is where I would be one day when I retire!
Big thank you to everyone who made this trip possible!!
Project Frog just had its first adventure at WSAVA, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association conference in Suzhou, China.
Unlike most others, I had no sponsors. The day before i was working overnight and I went straight to the airport right after my shift was over, flying the cheapest ticket I could find. With the help from some new friends I was able to set up a small table at the exhibit, but it was quickly taken away by the security.
But you know what, that didn’t matter.
I decided to sit on the floor, right there, at an international meeting, involving >10,000 people from more than 15 countries.
This is who I am. — “I will travel to the darkest places to save the animals that need me the most, regardless of the species.”
Together, so we can make a difference.
This is the way of Project Frog.
One afternoon I was sipping my coffee and staring at the Xiang River, Changsha Shore.
I decided I wanted to do something a little bit stupid.
I went on the internet and posted:
Whoever can ride the longest distance with the “Share Bike”APP, I will donate $100 dollar for every kilometer of the winner has ridden within 12 hours, no matter what city you are at, no matter what kind of weather that day would be….. The money will be delivered to an animal rescue team of my choice. No exceptions
So… I rode in heavy rain towards the end of the continent.. for 12 hours straight and reached 127 km .
I donated $13,000 to a rescue team in Hangzhou the next day, they saved more than 1,000 stray cats from being slaughtered in 2022.
Set yourself a goal,
Then go exceed that limit.
I am just an ordinary veterinarian. I learned acupuncture because I wanted to help animals when nothing else could relieve their pain.
Animals can’t tell us when they’re in pain…
Our job as veterinarians is not only to alleviate suffering but also to be the voice for our patients who cannot speak for themselves.
Doesn’t matter if it is a cat, a dog, a horse, a turtle, a hamster, or a big fluffy spider..
In 2023, I started Project Frog Wildlife Foundation, a grassroots initiative dedicated to animal welfare and veterinary education. I’ve traveled across the US and China, spoken Internationally in different universities, teaching hospitals, and conferences, sharing my stories to inspire next generations of veterinarians.
Now, I’m working to build something I’ve dreamed for years:
A mobile veterinary surgery teaching vehicle in China
This mobile unit will serve as a traveling classroom and surgical platform, supporting animal welfare programs while providing hands-on training opportunities for veterinary students. It will travel between veterinary schools and to undeserved areas- The goal is simple:
to help animals today, and to help train the veterinarians who will protect them tomorrow.
I am working as hard as I can as am ER vet, I am working as many overnight shifts as my body can endure.
But I don't know if I can do this alone..
ProjectFrog will be attending at The East and West Small Animal Veterinary Conference (WESAVC) in Tianjin, 2026, where we hope to connect with partners who believe in this mission and want to help bring it to life.
This vehicle will be donated to a elite college of veterinary medicine in China after its completion, where it continues to help animals and veterinary students for years to come.
Everything you are willing to contribute helps bring this vision closer to reality.
