About Us
Project Frog Wildlife Foundation was established by Dr. Kevin Yang, a veterinarian from the United States who has worked on the front lines of animal care. After years of treating pets, strays, and wildlife cases in a number of hospitals, he witnessed a heartbreaking pattern: due to lack of ownership and insufficient funding for treatments, animals without owners are sometimes turned away, resulting in unjust suffering and in many cases, death.
Project Frog was created to change that.
The mission is simple:
To give stray and wildlife a chance at medical care, compassion, and dignity — even when there is no one else to stand for them.
The Foundation provides basic stabilization and urgent care for wildlife animals, bridging the gap until they can be transferred to local animal control officers or licensed rehabilitation centers. For those too sick or severely injured to recover, we ensure a peaceful and humane euthanasia — sparing them needless pain and suffering.
We work hand-in-hand with animal control agencies, wildlife rehab centers, and local veterinarians, building a network of care where none existed before.
Beyond direct medical care, Project Frog travels to veterinary schools and colleges around the world, sharing experiences from emergency medicine and wildlife rescue. Through lectures, workshops, and storytelling, the Foundation hopes to inspire next generation of veterinarians to care not only for animals with owners, but also for those who have no voice and no one to advocate for them.
By combining medical care with education, Project Frog hopes to share this vision with next generation of veterinarians, and inspire them to stand up for animals that cannot speak for themselves. Doesn’t matter if it is a cat, a dog, a horse, a turtle, a hamster, or a big fluffy spider.
🐸 Together, we can make a difference.
